Building Skilled Hands for Global Jobs

“Skilled hands change destinies — of a family, and of a nation.”

Every year, thousands of ambitious men and women cross borders in search of work. But ambition alone is not enough to survive in the global labour market — it takes internationally recognised skills, certification, and confidence. That is precisely where ITT comes in.

Who we are

About ITT

Institute of Technical Training (ITT) is a professional technical training institution dedicated to developing skilled and job-ready workers for international employment opportunities, particularly in Singapore. Located in Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka, ITT provides practical, industry-focused training across a range of technical trades, helping trainees develop the technical skills, workplace discipline, safety awareness, and practical knowledge required for real-world employment.

We go beyond training by preparing workers for employment in Singapore and supporting them throughout the recruitment and deployment process. From candidate selection and practical training to skills development, assessment, recruitment, documentation, and deployment, we follow a structured and responsible approach with a strong focus on professionalism, transparency, and reliability.

We believe that with the right training, the youth of Bangladesh can prove their worth in any country on earth. That belief drives everything we do: world-class technical training, real workshop experience, and complete support on the road to overseas employment.

Chairman’s Message

Mr. Shahin Alam

Chairman, ITT — Institute of Technical Training

Assalamu Alaikum.

The greatest asset of Bangladesh is its people. Every year, hundreds of thousands of our youth travel abroad in search of employment — yet the painful truth is that most of them go as unskilled workers. As a result, they earn less, take on the riskiest jobs, and are denied the dignity they deserve.

ITT was born from the dream of changing that reality. We set out to build an institution from which a person walks out not merely with a certificate, but with genuine skill, confidence, and world-class readiness for work. A skilled worker abroad does not only change his own fortune — he brings prosperity to his family, valuable remittance to his country, and honour to the name of Bangladesh.

Every workshop we built, every instructor we hired, and every curriculum we designed answers one question: “What do foreign employers expect from our people?” On meeting that expectation, we make no compromise.

To everyone who wishes to change their life through honest hard work, the doors of ITT are always open. Come, let us conquer the world with skill.

With gratitude, Mr. Shahin Alam

Managing Director’s Message

Md. Tanveer Rahman

Managing Director, ITT — Institute of Technical Training

Dear well-wishers,

The global labour market is changing fast. Countries that once sought labourers now demand certified, safety-conscious, technology-aware skilled workers. If our workforce cannot keep pace with this shift, it will fall behind in the competition — that is the plain reality.

At ITT, every decision we make begins with that reality. Each of our fifteen trades runs on internationally branded machinery — the same calibre of equipment a trainee will operate on a foreign worksite is the equipment he learns on here. Our training philosophy is hands-on first; classroom theory comes alive on the workshop floor.

We place equal weight on discipline, workplace safety, and professional conduct, because foreign employers scrutinise these just as closely as technical skill.

If you, or someone in your family, dreams of building a career abroad as a skilled professional, we are ready to be the trusted companion of that dream.

With best wishes, Md. Tanveer Rahman

Real competence, not paperwork, is our measure of success.

  2. Honesty & Transparency

From admission to departure, every cost and every step is fully transparent.

  3. Safety Above All

Workplace safety is an integral part of training, never an option.

  4. Dignity of Labour

Every form of work deserves respect; every worker deserves dignity.

  5. Continuous Improvement

Curriculum and technology updated in step with the changing global market.

What sets us apart

Why ITT?

Training centres are not in short supply. What makes ITT different is this —

  1. 15 dedicated workshops

Every trade has its own complete, purpose-built facility — not a shared classroom.

  3. Singapore-standard curriculum

A training framework built around one of the world’s most rigorous skills-testing regimes.

  4. Government-recognised certification

BTEB, NSDA and other state-recognised certificates accepted at home and abroad.

  5. Training plus employment, under one roof

Complete support from course completion through recruitment, visa, and departure.

How we train

Our training methodology

Our training philosophy is simple — whatever a worker must do on a foreign worksite, he practises here, again and again, until it becomes second nature.

  1. Theoretical Foundation

Essential technical knowledge, drawing interpretation and measurement — taught in plain language with real examples.

  2. Hands-on Practice

The majority of training hours are spent in the workshop — real machines, real materials, real working conditions.

  3. Workplace Safety

PPE usage, working-at-height precautions, electrical and fire safety built into habit from day one.

  4. Language & Behavioural Readiness

Workplace English vocabulary, understanding instructions, foreign culture, and worksite etiquette.

  5. Assessment & Skills-Test Preparation

Regular evaluations modelled on international skills tests so the real test holds no surprises.

  6. Certification

Government-recognised certificates awarded to successful trainees.

Destination countries

Because our training is built to international standards, ITT graduates are prepared for multiple labour markets at once.

Singapore — our primary focus

Singapore operates one of the most demanding and well-regulated construction labour markets in the world. Employment there requires recognised skills certification — and our entire training framework is built around that benchmark. Skilled construction workers in Singapore enjoy superior wages, safe working conditions, and strong legal protection.

  • The Middle East — Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain — mega-projects with enormous demand for construction workers.
  • Malaysia — A long-established destination for Bangladeshi workers in construction and infrastructure.
  • Selected European markets — Romania, Poland, and other Eastern European countries with rising demand for skilled construction workers.
The complete process

From training to employment — step by step

Enrolling at ITT is not just signing up for a course — it is the beginning of a complete journey toward a skilled career abroad.

  1. Counselling & Trade Selection

We help each candidate choose the right trade based on age, physical capability, prior experience, and goals.

  2. Admission & Orientation

Document submission, enrolment, and familiarisation with rules and routines.

  3. Hands-on Training

Theory and workshop practice over the prescribed duration, under the constant supervision of experienced instructors.

  4. Assessment & Certification

Stage-by-stage skills evaluation, with government-recognised certificates for successful trainees.

  5. Skills Test & Recruitment

Preparation for employer-specific skills tests and entry into the recruitment process.

  6. Visa & Departure Preparation

Medical, passport, visa processing, BMET clearance, and pre-departure briefing — transparent support at every step.

  7. Deployment & Follow-up

Ensuring safe departure and maintaining contact after the worker joins his overseas workplace.

Our commitment

Post-training support

For many institutions, responsibility ends when the certificate is handed over. For us, the most important part of our responsibility begins right there.

  • Employment Linkage — Connecting trainees with foreign employers and legitimate recruitment channels.
  • Documentation Support — Passport, medical, police clearance, BMET smart card — hands-on assistance with every document.
  • Pre-departure Training — Mandatory briefing on destination-country laws, culture, contract terms, and workers’ rights.
  • Financial Awareness — Guidance on wages, legal remittance channels, and savings planning.
  • Overseas Contact — A designated channel of communication if any problem arises after joining work abroad.
  • Support for Families — Families of migrant workers can reach us for information and guidance whenever needed.

As long as our trainee is abroad, ITT remains by his side.
